Opportunities within the Competition, Regulatory or Strategies team are now open for the right applicants: Including leading projects on innovative economic thinking for inclusion into future projects and ensuring consistency in how economics is used across the organisation. As well as working with the largest blue chips, international governments and state regulators.
An economics graduate, preferably with a Masters and possibly a PhD from a top tier university, you will be academically accomplished in microeconomics and/or industrial organisation. However, your technical and intuitive understanding of microeconomics (including industrial organisation, competition economics and regulatory economics) must be matched by the ability to apply it to complex real world situations. As such you will have experience as an economist, preferably in regulation or competition.
A good team-worker, effective relationship-builder and clear communicator, both orally and in writing, you will have the skills to define the scope of work streams, identify the resources required, manage project processes and outputs, and provide guidance, support and feedback to colleagues.
